Low-strain heat treatment method "Nitriding Quenching" *Integrated support from pressing process to assembly.

[Technical Data Release - 4 Types] Reduces strain by 50% compared to conventional processing methods! A new heat treatment method that generates zero CO2 emissions as it does not use carbon gas.

Aitec's "Nitriding Quenching" is a surface hardening heat treatment method characterized by "low distortion," which allows nitrogen to permeate and diffuse into steel, followed by quenching from the austenite state. Distortion is associated with quality issues, as well as challenges related to polishing labor and costs due to distortion correction. By reducing the distortion itself, total cost reduction can also be achieved. 【Benefits of Nitriding Quenching】 ■ High surface hardness of HMV800 or more even with SPCC material ■ Lower quenching temperature than carburizing, resulting in low distortion (with a proven example of 50% reduction in distortion) ■ High resistance to softening ■ Total cost reduction without distortion correction ■ No CO2 emissions (environmental protection) [Aitec's Strength 1: Contract Analysis of Heat Treatment Distortion] We analyze the amount of distortion before and after heat treatment using a 3D scanner, allowing for shape comparison before and after treatment. We also accommodate requests for analysis only. [Aitec's Strength 2: Integrated Production] By providing integrated production of pressing and heat treatment, we can guarantee product dimensions. We offer added value by consolidating suppliers. ~ We are also seeing an increase in requests for prototypes and tests. Please feel free to contact us! ~ *Technical materials can be viewed from [PDF Download].

Attention those troubled by distortion during heat treatment! A new heat treatment method that can also handle thin materials.

Reduce distortion by 50% compared to conventional quenching methods! A new surface hardening heat treatment method, "Nitriding Quenching," that does not distort even with thin materials. *Prototyping and test processing available.

Aitec's "Nitriding Quenching" is a new surface hardening heat treatment method that allows nitrogen to penetrate and diffuse into steel, followed by quenching from the austenite state. By introducing nitrogen and performing quenching, it is possible to achieve a surface hardness of about 850 HV even with inexpensive SPCC materials, and to increase hardness within the range where nitrogen has diffused internally! ~ Currently recruiting for prototype and test processing! ~ 【Benefits of Nitriding Quenching】 ■ Useful as an alternative surface hardening method for parts ■ Effective for parts requiring low distortion ■ Capable of hardening to the interior ■ Achieves a deeper hardened layer in a shorter time compared to gas soft nitriding treatment *For more details, please view the PDF available for download below or feel free to contact us.

Surface hardening heat treatment method "Nitriding Quenching" *Prototype and test processing available

Reduce distortion caused by quenching! A new surface hardening heat treatment method that does not warp even thin materials.

"Diffusion Nitriding" is a new surface hardening heat treatment method that allows nitrogen to infiltrate and diffuse into steel, followed by quenching from the austenite state. By introducing nitrogen and performing quenching, surface hardness of about 850 HV can be achieved even with inexpensive SPCC materials, and it is possible to increase hardness within the range where nitrogen has diffused internally. At ITEC, we provide a comprehensive service from mold design to press processing, heat treatment, and surface treatment, offering high-precision metal parts backed by extensive know-how. ■ Currently recruiting for prototype and test processing! ■ 【Features】 ■ Good surface roughness of samples after treatment ■ Processing time can be significantly reduced to about 1/3 to 1/4 of that required for gas soft nitriding ■ Has a tempering softening resistance comparable to carburizing ■ Approximately half the amount of distortion compared to carburizing nitriding ■ Proven superiority in friction and wear characteristics *For more details on N-Quench, please refer to the PDF available for download.*
